The partnership with D'Boa spanned different brand spaces, calling for very different visual responses in each one.

In one project, Lato customized a kiosk across from the beach in Santos. Its proximity to the sea, relaxed atmosphere and açaí as a key product inspired a fresh, colorful tropical language. Botanical graphics brought product, nature and location together.

The new facade of D'Boa Sushi called for another approach.

The renovation aimed for a lighter, more elegant atmosphere inspired by Bali. Simply repeating the brand's most intense colors would have competed with the new architecture.

So Lato reinterpreted its visual codes.

The facade received an essentially monochromatic intervention, drawn in black on a natural-toned surface. The handmade line work speaks to visual references from Bali while incorporating Brazilian tropical flora and fauna.

The monkey, the brand's mascot, appears in a more realistic, refined form among the vegetation. The plants include açaí palms, showing the ingredient before it becomes the familiar image of a purple açaí bowl.

Near the entrance, monkeys interact with açaí berries, creating a focal point and a small narrative within the large composition.

Rather than forcing every graphic code of the brand onto the new architecture, the project preserved its spirit. The mascot, tropical world and product kept the identity recognizable, while finding a new expression suited to the space.
